> PR packaging for Benefit’s Brow Collection
> Cardboard engineered packaging design
> Adding drama to create impact
> Featuring a Mirri board mirror
> Litho printed and hand finished
Our packaging design and cardboard engineering experts worked closely with Benefit and their creative agency to create this quirky mini trunk presentation packaging piece for Benefit’s Brow Collection.
The Brow Collection’s packaging design featured a rigid paper over board box, with separate hand-assembled carton board fitments providing impact for smaller products, as well as a fully hinged lid to accommodate Benefit branded ‘dilemma cards’. A lightweight Mirri board mirror insert and silver ribbon lid supports provided the perfect metallic finishing touches to this fabulous piece of presentation packaging.
For the Pureprint Creative team, the real challenge of this packaging design project was how to house Benefit’s beauty products securely whilst, at the same time, providing vintage-styled flamboyance for this international brand.
Pelé – Art Life Football
> Luxury packaging presentation of a signed print & book
> Cardboard engineered to add value
> Stunning materials matching Brazil football colours
> Designed for longevity
> High levels of quality control
In 2015 London’s Halcyon Gallery launched the critically acclaimed Art Life Football exhibition, to coincide with Pele’s 75th birthday, and in recognition of the footballing legend’s astounding sporting achievements.
Our luxury packaging design experts were tasked with packaging the exhibition’s supporting literature for the gallery – high value pieces which included a book and a signed and framed print.
Extensive testing and refining of potential solutions was undertaken by our creative packaging experts so that we could ensure this piece of luxury packaging would last a lifetime and thus add value to its contents. PureCreative’s paper engineers designed hidden supports to limit the flex of the presentation packaging, whilst also adding strength and integrity to the box itself.
Colours were key from the outset and a Winters Brillianta blue and yellow cloth and Suedel® luxe lining combined to create a Brazilian luxury packaging box, and an S-shaped lift was constructed by hand in sumptuous 50mm yellow ribbon.
Berkeley Square & Bloom Gin
> Retail gift packaging for a premium drinks brand
> Designed for maximum merchandising effect
> Securely accommodating heavy glass items
> Luxurious foiled details
> Direct delivery to Harvey Nichols
Pureprint Creative’s experts were asked to create a truly magnificent piece of retail packaging for G&J Distillers to launch their new gin brands Berkeley Square & Bloom at Harvey Nichols in London, and, as the UK’s leading distiller and bottler of spirits, G&J had very specific requirements.
The cardboard engineering team created 3D white mock ups of the high density foam tray mechanism to ensure that the chosen retail packaging solution could not only securely hold all items for transport, but could also deliver perfectly presented product on shelves in store.
Intricate foiling and a PVC window featured on the feminine Bloom, and a clever magnet closure was incorporated in to the more masculine Berkeley Square. The luxury presentation gift box was then printed, finished and hand assembled in house, before our fulfilment centre carried out a full quality control check. Finally the luxury retail packaging was delivered direct to Harvey Nichols, fulfilling all their barcoding system requirements and therefore ensuring both staff and customers were happy.
MarketReach Top 100 Mailer
> High end B2B direct mail piece
> Embedded video
> Multiple items incorporated into format
> Digitally printed personalised content
> Hand finished and mailed
Royal Mail MarketReach asked Pureprint Creative for help with a multi-channel campaign designed to build awareness of the value of direct mail. The resulting promotional pack would be sent to a carefully selected database of 100 of the UK’s most influential marketers.
Multiple contents were the challenge with this project – the completed direct mail piece needed to incorporate a video, brochure and photo strips - but the solution was simple for our cardboard engineers.
A floating pocket was created above the rigid slipcase, making the photo strips easy to remove and preventing them from obstructing other items. A hybrid printing solution, on multiple papers, also allowed the direct mail pack to be highly personalised with variable messages and imagery.
No fewer than six items per pack were hand matched and finished, but the effort was more than worth it – the direct mail project was a huge success for MarketReach, not only increasing the awareness of this hugely influential audience, but also generating revenue too.
> High end property presentation packaging box
> Expertly matched to the enclosed brochure
> Luxury hand finishing
> Specialist materials
As a high end property sector customer, Burlington Arcade needed truly standout brochures and presentation packaging which not only matched the exacting requirements of their target market, but which also effectively illustrated the luxury style and high value of the real estate they were presenting.
Pureprint Creative’s cardboard engineering team organised multiple brainstorming meetings before designing a unique clamshell box presentation pack that would add real gravitas to the Burlington Arcade brochure inside.
Matching components were key to the overall message of this presentation packaging piece. The box was covered in a lavish Yarwood Cosmopolitan black leather and lined with Colorplan Ebony; black foiling to the box lining was accurately matched to black foiling inside the brochure; and branding to both box and brochure was blind debossed and bronze foiled. Lastly a bronze foiled ribbon lift and Suedelux inlay guaranteed the tangible luxury of this piece of impressive presentation packaging.
